Does the tracking work in basements and tunnels where GPS fails?
Yes — that is the design case. The site runs on a self-healing Wirepas mesh: battery-powered nodes that relay for each other, proven 500 m+ underground in tunnels, shafts and deep basements where GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular all fail. No SIM cards, no cabling, no single point of failure — and every node is TDRA type-approved for the UAE.
What does the connected-worker system actually measure?
Helmet-mounted sensors and badge tags put every worker, tool and machine on one live map: zone-level location, time-on-tool, danger-zone entries, fatigue and man-down events, and a sub-60-second digital muster instead of a 15–30-minute manual headcount. Reference deployments report safety violations −91%, crew productivity +25%, idle time cut 25–40% and timesheet fraud eliminated because attendance is measured, not signed.
Do we pay per-camera license fees for the AI CCTV?
No. The AI video analytics run license-free on Ubiquiti UniFi cameras — face and plate recognition, touchless gate access and HSE violation detection with no recurring per-camera software fees. For groups it is also available as a fully-managed multi-site surveillance subscription with 3-second alerting.
Who flies the drones for progress tracking and survey?
ZAMTEK develops the AI, supplies and integrates the hardware, and consults and trains. All drone flight operations are executed via GCAA-licensed partners and group companies. ZAMTEK is the sole authorized representative of Aerodyne for drone analytics, and supplies Wingtra survey drones that map to 1.5 cm accuracy at up to 500 ha per flight.
Where does the workforce data live? Is it privacy-compliant?
On-premises, on hardware you own, with UAE data sovereignty as the default. The AI agents process location and video locally; nothing has to leave the country. Tracking is zone-based and role-based, aligned with UAE labour and data-protection requirements, and the same records satisfy lender and client OHS reporting.
How fast can we start, and what does it cost up front?
Engagement is pilot-first: a 2-week proof-of-concept, then a 4–8-week single-zone pilot with measured ROI — one tower, one tunnel section or one gate — then a phased Hardware-as-a-Service subscription. No capex; reference construction deployments show 3–6 month payback.
